Not a joke, but had me in stitches...
My 41 year old son just visited and was telling us about things he got up to when he was about 12 or 13. I daren't post this on the Roman Catholic section of CARMs as I'll possibly get strung up!
Our village is well know because it has a Carmelite Priory, locally called Aylesford Friars, you can Google it. Well, just imagine this, it is true: Nev and a couple of school pals went into the chapel where there are always lots of candles burning. They blew out the candles and got chased away by the brown robed monks. What a confession... only he's an agnostic. Imagining that as like a video had me in fits of laughter, although I shouldn't! He also said they used to creep into the village hall and turn the power off during concerts - as he said, can you imagine the guitars whining down. Should I disown him? |
